HC Deb 05 November 1946 vol 428 c221W
104. Mrs. Gould

asked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware that when next of kin are urgently summoned to visit Service personnel on the danger list, free priority passages can only be obtained if the serving men are stationed in Europe; and, as conscripts may be sent to any part of the world, if he will undertake in future to see that these facilities are universally provided.

Mr. Bellenger

Under the present scheme such passages can only be allowed if the patient is in Europe. The possibility of extending the scheme is now being examined.
