HC Deb 05 November 1946 vol 428 c203W
37. Mr. Prescott

asked the Minister of Labour if, in the draft wages regulation proposals made under the Catering Wages Act, 1943, in respect of workers on licensed premises, he will introduce further differential areas throughout the country to the two at present suggested.

Mr. Isaacs

The proposals referred to were published by the Licensed Non-Residential Establishment Wages Board, and have not yet been submitted to me. Before that is done the Board will, in accordance with the procedure laid down in the Catering Wages Act, consider any written representations made to them before 31st October. Any representations regarding these proposals should, therefore, be addressed to the Board.
