§ Mr. J. FreemanIn general, claims for repayments of sums expended by prisoners of war in escapist activities are dealt with on their merits according to the circumstances of the individual case. Certain special considerations apply to similar expenditure incurred on a communal basis at Stalag Luft III, but I understand that my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Air hopes to convey a decision to the officers concerned in the very near future.
