asked the Minister of Education the number of married women schoolteachers employed in grant-aided primary and secondary schools.

The returns for October, 1946, are not quite complete but they indicate that the number of married women teachers in grant-aided primary and secondary schools, other than direct-grant schools, was about 28,550.
