asked the Minister of Transport the road accident figures in which motor vehicles were involved for Lincolnshire during the second and third quarters of 1946.

The reports submitted to my Department by the police relate to deaths and injuries arising from all road accidents irrespective of the type of vehicle involved; I regret that the information for which the hon. Member has asked is not available. Road accidents in Lincolnshire resulted in 21 deaths and 614 cases of injury in the second quarter of 1946 and 26 deaths and 732 cases of injury in the third quarter.
