§ Sir E. Graham-Littleasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department it he will reconsider the case, details of which have been submitted to him, of a Rumanian doctor with a British medical qualification obtained in 1945 allowing him to undertake the duties of resident medical officer at a council hospital, who has been informed that at the expiration of this office he must leave the country.
§ Mr. EdeThis young man was admitted to this country temporarily for purposes of study and would in the ordinary course be expected to leave when the purpose of his visit had been fulfilled, but in present circumstances there is no intention of requiring him to leave at an early date, and it will be open to him to apply for an extension of his stay.
