Mr. Dugdale:The normal standard of leave for Naval ratings in shore establishments at home is nine days every four months, and three interim periods a year of 48 hours or long week-ends; that is a total of 33 days a year. The leave granted to the staff at the Royal Naval Auxiliary Hospital, Southport, has recently averaged slightly more.
