178W
§ Mr. Tomlinson:Prices for manufacturing temporary aluminium houses have not yet been fixed. Local authorities do not buy temporary houses; all temporary houses are provided by the Government and housing authorities pay an agreed sum annually to the Minister of Health while the houses remain in their possession. It is estimated that the charges made by Government Departments will be about two per cent. of the total cost.
