asked the Minister of National Insurance if old age pensioners who qualify and obtain pensions in England, but go to reside in Eire, are entitled to receive supplementary pensions; and to whom do they make application.

Mr. J. Griffiths:

Section 9 (5) of the Old Age and Widows' Pensions Act, 1940, forbids the payment of supplementary pensions to persons outside Great Britain.
