§ 21. Mr. H. Hyndasked the Minister of Health the number of houses built since the cessation of hostilities and the figure for the comparable period after the 1914–18 war.
§ Mr. Bevan:Since the cessation of hostilities 26,784 permanent and temporary houses and huts have been completed by local authorities and private builders in England and Wales. I regret that information is not available of the 115W number completed in the comparable period after the last war, but I would refer my hon. Friend to the figures I gave in reply to the hon. Member for Hands-worth (Mr. H. Roberts) on 1st March.
