asked the Secretary of State for War if he is aware of the anomalies arising in connection with payment of compensation to farmers in Perthshire on whose land anti-tank defences were constructed; and whether he will ensure that equitable payment is made in all such cases.

Mr. Lawson:

I am not aware of any anomalies, but if the hon. and gallant Member will send me particulars of the specific cases he has in mind I will gladly investigate them.
