asked the Minister of Works how many houses in Cathedral Road, Cardiff, are still occupied by the Welsh Regional Office of his Department; whether alternative accommodation has been obtained; and the number of persons employed at these regional offices.

Mr. Wilson:

Six houses in Cathedral Road, Cardiff, are at present occupied by the Regional Office of the Ministry of Food. The staff, which numbers 288, will be removed to a temporary office building, now in course of erection, which is expected to be ready during June.
