Mr. King

asked the First Lord of the Admiralty if he will divert any craft in need of repair to the Falmouth shipyard, in view of the increasing danger of unemployment in the area and of the debt owed by His Majesty's Navy to the workers of that yard for the devoted service they gave throughout the war.

Mr. Dugdale:

I have written to my hon Friend on this subject. Enough additional work to keep the labour force at this shipyard properly employed is being provided.
