many people have been compelled to leave Wales to take up employment in England; and if he will state the number of men and women, respectively, who have left the Principality for this purpose during the last six months.
§ Mr. Ness EdwardsInformation is not available as to the total number of men and women who have left Wales for employment in England during the last six months, but since August, 1945, about 750 men and 1,350 women, for whom no suitable local work was available at the moment, voluntarily accepted employment in other regions through the employment exchanges.
