HC Deb 21 March 1946 vol 420 c399W
72. Flight-Lieutenant Haire

asked the Minister of Health the number of vacant houses in Marlow, Bucks, at the present time; the number of applicants through the local authority for accommodation; and the number of houses requisitioned by the Marlow Urban District Council during the last six months.

Mr. Bevan

I am informed that in Marlow there are three vacant houses, all of which are uninhabitable, that there are some 200 "live" applications for council houses, and that two houses were requisitioned by the council during the last six months, both of which were released on representations made by the owners within the prescribed period of 14 days.
