§ Mr. Stokesasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware that Messrs. Lencoy, of Milan, have for immediate disposal 150,000 suits of clothes; that their factories are capable of producing 6,000 suits weekly; that they are prepared to dispose of them at $9 a suit or for block sterling or in exchange for 2,000 tons of Egyptian cotton; and whether he will make arrangements for the supply of these suits to be made available for the home market.
§ Mr. BelcherI understand that these suits are made of rayon and are, therefore, unsuitable for the British climate.
