Mr.Asshetonasked the President of the Board of Trade wnether, in view of the deferment of the appointed day for the general payment of war damage claims, he will consider introducing amending legislation to enable interest to be paid from the date of damage in cases where advance payment of claims under Part II of the War Damage Act has now been made.
