§ 91. Wing-Commander Robinsonasked the Minister of Food what quantities of barley have been exported from the United Kingdom or diverted from United Kingdom allocations to Holland and Denmark since 1st August, 1945.
§ Mr. StracheyThe only barley exported from the United Kingdom to Holland and Denmark since 1st August, 1945, has been for the manufacture of beer for British troops. Statistics of the quantities are not available in my Department but I will obtain them and communicate them to the hon. and gallant Member. No barley has been diverted to these countries from cargoes afloat to the United Kingdom.
