§ Mr. Ecclesasked the Minister of Food by how much the acreage of potatoes planted in Northern Ireland this year exceeds or falls short of the acreage planted last year.
§ Mr. Strachey:Preliminary statistics of the potato acreage in Northern Ireland will not be available until towards the end of July. I understand, however, that the acreage under potatoes this year is likely to show an increase over that in 1945.
