§ Mr. Randallasked the Minister of Food if he is aware of the widespread traffic of feedingstuffs outside the regulations; and whether any steps are being, or will be taken, to ensure an equitable distribution in accordance with supplies and needs.
§ Mr. Strachey:There is doubtless some illegal traffic in rationed feedingstuffs, but I am not aware that it is widespread and i am satisfied that control is generally effective. Enforcement of the relevant Orders has recently been intensified and I have every reason to believe that the measures which have been, and are being, taken will prevent any interference with the equitable distribution of supplies.
