HC Deb 26 February 1946 vol 419 c381W
Mr. Douglas Marshall

asked the Minister of Supply and of Aircraft Production whether, in view of the need to revive the Cornish tin industry in the interests of the necessity to save imports, he will guarantee for five years a minimum price for British won tin.

Mr. Leonard

In the absence of any clear indication of the future level of world tin prices, my right hon. Friend does not feel able to accept this suggestion.
