Captain Blackburn

asked the Minister of Labour the numbers of men and women released from the forces at the end of January.

Mr. Isaacs:

The releases in January amounted to 444,860. This is an increase of 62,602 over the December figure. The total number of men and women released and discharged from 18th June, 1945, to the end of January was 1,954,120. Below is a detailed statement.
