§ Mr. StracheyI realise, of course, that relatives are anxious to receive all possible information about members of the Royal Air Force who have been reported missing from air operations, and we have taken special steps to give them any reliable information which is brought to light. For this "purpose the Air Ministry Missing Research and Inquiry Service is now at work investigating each report that is received in many parts of the Continent and the Far East. Eventually we hope to cover every place where some further information might be found. My hon. Friend will appreciate the complexity and the difficulties of this work, but I can assure him that we are doing our very best to find out what has happened to every member of the Royal Air Force who has been reported missing from air operations.
