HC Deb 14 February 1946 vol 419 cc155-6W
Mr. McKie

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether, in view of the difficulty in providing suitable rural houses within the existing limitation of size of floor space and granting of licences to private builders to spend£1,200 per house, he will consider the relaxation of those Regulations.

Mr. Buchanan

As at present advised I do not consider that the requirements of rural areas necessitate an increase in the limits of superficial area and prices.
