§ Mr. Dribergasked the Under-Secretary of State for Air if he is aware of the warning given by the spokesmen of the airmen concerned, that some of the strikes in the R.A.F. in India may start again on 15th February; and what steps have been taken to clear up any misunderstandings that may have contributed to discontent and to meet the men's just grievances and so to prevent further indiscipline.
§ Mr. StracheyYes, Sir, I am aware that there has been some suggestion that there may be a recurrence of indiscipline at certain stations in India. As for the second part of the Question, I would refer the hon. Member to the statement by my right hon. Friend the Prime Minister on 29th January, in which he expressed himself as satisfied that the detailed points raised by the men are being most adequately and carefully dealt with in every case.
