asked the Minister of Information if he will state the present annual cost, respectively, of the salaries paid to B.B.C. officials, for overhead charges and salaries paid to artistes.

Member will find particulars of the expenditure of the B.B.C. in considerable detail in the published accounts of the Corporation for the year ended 31st March, 1945, Command Paper 6705. The accounts for the current financial year will be published as soon as they are completed
