Mr. Swinglerasked the Minister of Labour if he will take steps to ascertain the numbers of male persons in Great Britain between the ages of 14 and 64 years in each of the following categories: private domestic servants, persons incapable of work, persons who have retired from employment and persons who are not gainfully occupied.
§ Mr. IsaacsIt would not be practicable to obtain this information, except by means of a census of the population. The date of the next census has not yet been decided.
