§ 117. Mr. Spenceasked the Minister of Labour what proportion of those applying for training under the Business Training Scheme have been rejected and whether those who are eligible by reason of service and as defined in paragraph 7 of the prospectus, and who have been rejected, will be accepted for training at a later date when facilities become available.
§ Mr. IsaacsThe proportion of applicants under the Business Training Scheme who have been rejected as ineligible or unsuitable is approximately 52 per cent. As selection for training depends upon suitability as well as eligibility, applicants who have been rejected will not be accepted at a later date. Facilities for training are provided for all those who are accepted.
