asked the Minister of Works if he will consider installing an illuminated annunciator on Bag Ben, so that information similar to that now given in the Dining Room, Smoke Room, Library, etc., may be made available to the public.

I am not aware of any public demand for such an installation and feel that existing arrangements for giving publicity to the activities of the House are adequate. The cost of installing and running such an installation would be high, and its appearance would be unsightly
