§ Mr. BevanI am aware that there are a number of mentally defective children in Public Assistance institutions in Lancashire. I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which I am giving today to a general Question on this subject put by the hon. Member for Cumberland, North (Mr. W. Roberts). All that is possible is being done to improve conditions in Lancashire as elsewhere.
