HC Deb 04 December 1946 vol 431 c110W
129. Mr. Solley

asked the Minister of Supply whether, in view of the importance of the motor-car industry in relation to exports and of the fact that the price of motor-cars, is, inter alia, dependent upon their mass production, he will review the question of allocation of steel supplies to motor-car manufacturers, in order to ascertain to what extent these allocations can be increased in the near future.

Mr. Leonard

I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer given to the hon. Members for West Coventry (Mr. Edelman), and Luton (Mr. Warbey), on 21st October last.
