§ Sir W. Smithersasked the Minister of Works why he sold a hut belonging to Mr. H. W. Groves, Cleadon Nurseries, near South Shields, when Mr. Groves had bought it from the Timber Control and held their receipt; and if he will take immediate steps to compensate Mr. Groves for the removal and loss of his hut and take disciplinary action against the person or persons concerned.
§ Mr. TomlinsonWhen the site, with the hut on it, was handed over to my Department for disposal, no mention was made of the previous disposal of the hut. I regret the inconvenience caused to Mr. Groves, but I have arranged to supply him with another hut in replacement
