§ 114. Mr. Robensasked the Minister of Fuel and Power whether he proposes to make a statement about the validity of the use of the "L" coupons issued with the basic fuel ration.
§ Mr. Shinwell:An official announcement was issued to the Press on nth February. The announcement indicated that, until further notice, both the "L" unit coupons and the "N" unit coupons will be valid for the supply of motor spirit on the basis of one unit equals one gallon. This point was emphasised in a further public announcement on 28th February.
