§ Lieut.-Colonel Hareasked the Minister of Agriculture how much feeding stuffs have been exported from this country to Denmark since VE-Day; and whether he will release more feeding stuffs to farmers in this country soon in order to encourage the revival of the pig and poultry industries.
Mr. WilliamsNo feeding stuffs have been exported from this country to Denmark. All supplies available are allocated to the various classes of stock rationed in accordance with the Rationing Scheme. Substantial progressive increases in the basic rations for pigs and poultry were announced last April and have not yet come into full effect. Prospective supplies do not permit of any further improvement at present.
