§ Mr. Priceasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he is now in a position to state when the provisions of the Finance Act and the Income Tax Act with regard to taxation and expenditure on research are to be brought into force; and whether, in view of the need for increasing research activities at the earliest opportunity, he will undertake to bring measures into force without delay.
