§ Flying Officer Bowdenasked the Secretary of State for War if, in view of the Government's policy on naturalisation of aliens who have served in His Majesty's Forces, he will issue instructions to all commands that alien soldiers whose release groups have been reached and who desire British nationality may be demobilised in the United Kingdom irespective of where they may be serving.
§ Mr. LawsonNo, Sir. Soldiers are normally released in the country in which they enlisted, and I am unable to make any exceptions in favour of men who claim that they intend to apply for naturalisation.
