HC Deb 26 November 1945 vol 416 c1031W
Mr. G. Roberts

asked the President of the Board of Trade why no progress is being made in converting Brynllwyd factory, Bangor, Caernarvonshire, to peacetime production; and what he proposes to do in the matter.

Sir S. Cripps

This factory has been allocated to British Electric Meters for the production of household electric meters. Preparations to provide for the natural lighting of the factory revealed that the existing roof is inadequate to carry the necessary glazing, and suitable structural alterations are at present being arranged.
