Dr. Jegerasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies whether any steps have been taken to implement the proposals outlined in the White Paper on Cocoa Control in West Africa, paragraph 35 et. seq., to establish organisations for the purchase and disposal of cocoa, to fix prices and to act as trustees for the producers.
§ Mr. George HallI hope shortly to present to the House a White Paper setting out in detail the arrangements which I have in mind for the future marketing of West African cocoa.
