asked the Minister of Works the prices paid for first, second and third Kent stock bricks at August 1914, 1918, 1924, 1930, 1935, 1939 and November 1945; also the price of cement on the same dates.

The information, so far as bricks are concerned, is not available for the years mentioned. Ex works prices for Kent stock bricks in the years 1919, 1932, 1938, 1940 and 1945 are as follows:
