§ Mr. Gaitskellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he has any statement to make on the conclusion of a monetary agreement between this country and Norway.
§ Mr. DaltonA Monetary Agreement between His Majesty's Government and the Norwegian Government was signed on 8th November which provides a satisfactory mechanism of payments between the sterling area and Norway, and will thus facilitate the resumption of Anglo-Norwegian trade. The text of the Agreement has been presented to Parliament and copies are available in the Vote Office.
