§ Mr. Turtonasked the Minister of Health what action he is taking on the joint letter, dated 25th October, 1945, addressed to him by the Malton and Norton Urban District Councils stressing the desirability of amalgamating the two urban districts.
§ Mr. BevanI have caused a copy of the letter to be sent to the Local Government Boundary Commission, within whose province it lies to consider the councils'representations, and I have advised the two councils to get into touch with the Commission.
