§ Mr. H. Hyndasked the Minister of Health what steps he is taking to implement his declared intention that empty rooms in dwelling-houses should be occupied by those now requiring accommodation.
§ Mr. BevanI shall very shortly be issuing a circular to local authorities, asking them to appeal to householders in their areas. A Defence Regulation is to be made which will facilitate the letting of accommodation in response to the appeal, and the circular will be issued as soon as the Regulation is made.
