§ Mr. WillinkLocal authorities have been advised from time to time that proposed works of adaptation and conversion of requisitioned premises must be reasonable and sufficient to render the accommodation fit for occupation having regard to wartime standards. The most recent advice is contained in a circular issued to housing authorities in the London Civil Defence Region, of which I am sending my hon. Friend a copy.
