Mr. Zillacusasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the maintenance of full diplomatic relations with Yugoslavia after the proclamation of the Republic by the Constituent Assembly of that country means that His Majesty's Government no longer recognises Peter Karageorgevich as the King of Yugoslavia.
Mr. McNeilUntil the necessary steps have been taken to accord full recognition to the Republic established in Yugoslavia by the Constituent Assembly, the position as regards King Peter remains as before. His Majesty's Government, however, hope soon to be in a position to make a further statement.
