§ Captain C. Smithasked the Secretary of State for War whether he will arrange that, when men are retained in an overseas command beyond the date that they would have been repatriated on the ground that they are shortly to be due for release, they shall not forfeit the repatriation leave which they would have received had they been repatriated at the appropriate time.
§ Mr. LawsonSoldiers are not retained in overseas commands after they have become due for repatriation, on the ground that they will shortly be due for release. Explicit instructions have been issued forbidding such retention, because of the possible effect on leave.
