Robinsonasked the Minister of Education whether she will consider the acquisition of the Technical College Camp at Warton, Lancashire, when it is vacated by the U.S. Army so as to secure this centre with all its technical equipment for use as a technical instruction centre for.the United Kingdom.
§ Miss WilkinsonOfficers of my Department have visited this camp and reported on its possibilities. I am consulting the Air Ministry about the possibility of using some part of the premises for an emergency training college, and if any other educational use can be made of the rest of the accommodation or the equipment I shall approach the appropriate authorities in order to secure, if possible, the use of the camp when it is vacated by the United States Army.
