§ Mr. Stanleyasked the Minister of Education (1) whether, in view of the many representations which have been made to her, she is prepared to reconsider her decision to remove Redland High School from the list of direct grant schools; (2) whether in view of the many representations which have been made to her, she is prepared to reconsider her decision to remove the Colston Girls' School, Bristol, from the list of direct grant schools.
§ Miss WilkinsonThe applications from the. governors of Redland and Colston Girls' Schools have been carefully considered in the light both of such representations as I have received and also of the general provision of grammar school facilities in the area. In the result I am unable to alter the decisions already announced.
