HC Deb 12 December 1945 vol 417 c570W
Lieut.- Colonel Price-White

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will give the number of head of cattle made available to His Majesty's Forces in East Africa by way of gift and by way of purchase by the Masai tribe, at a time when military operations in East Africa and elsewhere caused the supply of food stuffs for the Forces to be a matter of concern; and whether he will give some publicity to this helpful and generous action of the Masai tribe in this connection.

Mr. George Hall

I have no particulars, but am obtaining information from East Africa and am consulting the East African authorities on the question of publicity.
