§ Major Bruceasked the Attorney-General whether he will cause copies of the verbatim reports in English of the proceedings of the international military tribunal now sitting at Nuremberg to be placed in the Library of this House at convenient intervals during such proceedings; and whether he will consider publishing, in due course, the complete verbatim report in printed volume form.
§ Mr. Pickthornasked the Attorney-General whether a verbatim report of the Nuremberg proceedings is to be published in England or communicated to Members, and, if so, how soon.
§ Mr. Wilson Harrisasked the Attorney-General whether he will arrange for the publication of verbatim reports of the Nuremberg trial in HANSARD form; and 374W whether, alternatively or in addition, he will arrange for the preparation of a descriptive account of the trial on the scale of the official descriptive pamphlets on the Battle of Britain and other achievements of the Fighting Forces.
§ Sir W. Wakefieldasked the Attorney-General whether it is his intention to publish, or make arrangements to have published, at a low price, a verbatim report of the present Nuremberg trials.
Colonel Hutchisonasked the Attorney-General if he will arrange to make a Verbatim report of the Nuremberg trials available to the public.
The Attorney-GeneralAs I stated in a reply to a question by my hon. Friend the Member for Nottingham, West (Mr. O'Brien) on 3rd December, arrangements have been made for a full record of the proceedings to be laid in the Library as they become available. I am giving careful consideration to the publication of this record in printed form. In view of the full publicity the trial is receiving I do not think that a descriptive pamphlet as suggested by my hon. Friend the Member for Cambridge University (Mr. Wilson Harris) is necessary.
