Mr. FraserThe future organisation of the Fire Service is at present under active consideration by my right hon. Friend and the Secretary of State for the Home Department, and several meetings have already been held with the local authority associations concerned both in England and Wales and in Scotland. I regret, however, that I am not yet in a position to make any statement on the subject.
